Trade & Partners

Not another name on your rate sheet. A working relationship worth keeping.

Photoglobetrotters runs small-group, photography-led expeditions for a market that has already been everywhere — and pays for something real. This page is for operators, DMCs, and lodges who'd rather work with one photographer who actually shows up than chase reach that doesn't convert.

Who's Asking

One photographer. 35 years on the road. No agency in between.

Photoglobetrotters is run directly by Bernhard Pompey — no account manager, no call centre, no back-and-forth through layers. When we talk about a route, a rate, or a group, you're talking to the person who's actually on the ground with the clients.

One brand, one purpose: small-group trips worth returning from, with images worth publishing — and worth booking again.

The Traveler

Who actually books through us.

Already well-travelled

45+, has done the big-name destinations with family and on business. Not looking for a first trip — looking for a different kind of trip.

High spending power

Successful, time-poor, budget-flexible. Values a well-run small group over a discount, and a good guide over a big brand name.

Photography-driven

Travels with real camera gear, not just a phone. Books around light, wildlife and access — not around a beach chair.

Here for the Camel Trophy feeling

A Land Cruiser or Hilux, dust, a group of guys who are mates or about to be, a beer at the campfire — and a camera to actually prove it happened. Adventure first, comfort second.

What We're Looking For

We're not chasing volume. We're chasing the right ground contacts.

  • DMC & local operator partnerships — routes and access that don't show up in a standard brochure.
  • Lodge & camp rate agreements — for repeat small-group placements, not one-off bookings.
  • Site inspections and test itineraries — so future groups get built on routes we've verified ourselves, not a brochure.
What You Get

Fewer bookings. Better ones.

  • Qualified groups, not tourists — max 6 travelers per trip, briefed and prepared before arrival.
  • A single point of contact — every booking runs through the person who was on the ground, not a call centre.
  • A fair shot at repeat business — earn a place in the rotation and we keep coming back. Not every route makes the cut, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
